INTRODUCTION

Cold storage plants have temperature, Co2 and humidity sensors. The temperature, Co2 and humidity inside the cold storage plant are measured and send that data to PLC.  Data received from cold storage plant is reviewed daily to ascertain the quality of food items placed inside the cold storage plant. Thus cold storage plants help in keeping the food and medicine from deteriorating.

Temperature inside the cold storage plant is maintained automatically with the help of PLC temperature module controllers. These controllers can maintain required temperature at a local area of the cold storage plant by adjusting the flow of air conditioned air. Humidity & Co2 does the major role as the cool dry air will affect the moisture of agricultural stored products so must needed to maintain. Humidity & Co2 sensors are sending the local environment data to PLC controllers. PLC complex logic will take the decision for how to maintain the environment inside the storage by timely operating humidifiers and Co2  exhaust from the storage. Advanced humidifier and Co2 exhaust systems are installing now a days to get the quick result with energy saving too. Automation panels are provided to having advanced power factor management controllers.
