Project Planner - Electrical Control Panels Job in Ahmedabad, Gujarat
Lubi Electronics is looking for a detail-oriented Project Planner - Electrical Control Panels to coordinate project activities from order booking through manufacturing release. The role involves coordinating closely with Estimation, Design, Procurement, and Production teams to ensure timely completion of project documentation, BOMs, drawings, material codes, approvals, and manufacturing inputs.
Eligibility & Education Criteria
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- 1–2 years of experience in project planning, coordination, or execution of electrical control panels or automation panels.
- Basic knowledge of PCC, MCC, PLC, VFD, and electrical control panels.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination:
- Review customer purchase orders, technical project specifications, and scope of supply to identify missing information, risks, and discrepancies.
- Coordinate with Estimation, Design, Procurement, and Production teams to close pending operational activities on schedule.
- Maintain and update project schedules, milestones, and daily tracking sheets.
BOM & SAP Coordination:
- Verify Estimation Bills of Materials (BOMs) against customer requirements and final approved design specifications.
- Follow up on Sales Order creation, new material codes, BOM uploads, Purchase Requisitions (PRs), and Purchase Orders (POs).
- Coordinate across departments to resolve BOM discrepancies, component revisions, and material availability issues.
Design & Enclosure Coordination:
- Follow up on enclosure General Arrangement (GA) drawings, customer drawing approvals, fabrication milestones, assembly drawings, and electrical schematics.
- Ensure engineering drawings and BOMs remain updated and strictly aligned with approved scope.
- Track enclosure delivery schedules, fabrication lead times, and long-lead component arrivals.
Manufacturing Readiness & Reporting:
- Ensure all engineering drawings, approved BOMs, structural enclosures, critical materials, and customer technical inputs are in place before releasing to shop-floor manufacturing.
- Track daily project progress, flag process bottlenecks, and escalate potential delivery delays proactively.
- Prepare periodic project status reports, milestone dashboards, and progress updates for executive reviews.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Working knowledge of electrical control panels, including PCC, MCC, PLC panels, and VFD drives.
- Ability to review BOMs, panel GA drawings, internal assembly drawings, and electrical schematics.
- Hands-on familiarity with SAP ERP transactions and project tracking workflows is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (spreadsheets, VLOOKUP, pivot trackers) and reporting tools.
- Strong cross-functional follow-up, problem-solving, and professional communication skills.
