Sales Engineer - Industrial Automation Products Job in Kolkata, West Bengal

Lubi Electronics is seeking an energetic and result-driven Sales Engineer - Industrial Automation Products for our Kolkata branch. This role is ideal for technical sales professionals with 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in technical B2B sales, OEM account management, and industrial solution pitching covering PLCs, AC Drives/VFDs, HMIs, Motion Control, and Power Transmission systems including Gearboxes and Gear Motors.

Eligibility & Education Criteria

• B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation & Control (IC), Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of proven hands-on experience in Industrial Automation or B2B technical sales.
• Willingness to travel across Kolkata, West Bengal, and surrounding eastern industrial clusters for customer visits and technical discussions.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Development & Lead Generation: Identify, qualify, and convert new sales opportunities across West Bengal and neighboring eastern industrial clusters.
• Product Sales Drive: Promote and drive sales across our comprehensive portfolio of Industrial Automation Products (PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, Servo Systems) alongside power transmission components (Gearboxes & Gear Motors).
• OEM & Machine Builder Engagement: Establish and nurture long-term relationships with OEMs, machine builders, system integrators, panel builders, and end-user manufacturing units.
• Technical Solution Consulting: Analyze customer requirements, review technical specifications, and recommend high-performance automation and motion control solutions.
• Commercial Proposals & Negotiation: Formulate competitive techno-commercial quotations, steer contract negotiations, and successfully secure purchase orders.
• Cross-Functional Execution: Coordinate with application engineering, logistics, and service departments to facilitate on-time delivery, commissioning assistance, and after-sales support.
• Target Achievement & Reporting: Deliver quarterly and annual revenue targets while tracking sales pipelines inside CRM systems and providing regular market intelligence.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven expertise selling industrial automation lines (Delta, Siemens, Schneider, Mitsubishi or equivalent) or power transmission equipment.
• Firm technical understanding of VFDs, PLC/HMI architectures, motion control devices, and industrial motor/gearbox applications.
• Strong track record handling direct OEM accounts, panel builders, and regional channel partners.
• Excellent techno-commercial presentation, negotiation, and closing capabilities.
