Requirements

The customer required a scalable monitoring solution from Lubi to integrate distributed field devices and equipment signals into the existing Building Management System. The objective was to consolidate critical infrastructure data, improve real time visibility, and enable centralised supervision without undertaking a complete system replacement. The solution needed to support seamless communication, flexible I/O expansion, and future readiness across evolving data centre infrastructure.

As data centre infrastructure grows, fragmented monitoring systems and isolated field signals can limit operational visibility. Integrating equipment from different vendors, communication protocols, and legacy systems creates additional complexity for facility management teams. Manual monitoring can delay fault identification, while limited data accessibility makes it difficult to identify abnormal operating conditions and coordinate timely maintenance without disrupting critical operations.
