A large scale manufacturing facility operating several mission critical utilities including water treatment systems, HVAC infrastructure, compressed air networks, chilled water circuits and boiler operations required greater operational transparency across the plant. These utilities were functioning through independent PLC based control panels and localized HMIs, resulting in fragmented process visibility. Plant leadership required a unified digital platform to strengthen operational governance and system level monitoring.
Requirement
The organization required a centralized supervisory architecture capable of interfacing with multiple PLC driven utility subsystems distributed across the plant. The objective was to establish an integrated visualization platform enabling operators and plant management to access real time operational parameters through a single control interface. The system also required secure user authentication, historical data archiving, intelligent alarm management and automated performance reporting.
